50 years ago, i read this as a 12 year old and heard the wisdom of Atticus. Thoughts like only understanding someone when you had climbed inside their skin and walked around a bit stayed with me.
Reading this at the moment. Finding it shocking how people thought of black people then and brave of Atticus to stand up for it in such a dignified manner. Very inspiring book!
