Book 0056
Greenmantle by John Buchan
Donated by Peter Gingold, who says...
This is one of Buchan’s great Richard Hannay novels. It is a fairly early spy story, just at the remotely conceivable end of implausibility, enormous fun as it ranges across Europe and Turkey. It is tremendous, hopelessly non-PC story-telling.
I read it when I’m feeling depressed.
